November 2018 Estate Message
A sincere thank you to all those homeowners who took time out of their busy lives to attend your 2018 AGM on Monday, 19 November 2018. The minutes of the AGM will be added to our website in due course.
‘Builders Holiday’ on the estate is as per the Master Builders Association, so unless speedy emergency repairs are required (prior approval granted by the Estate Office!), all contractors will be denied entry from Friday 14th Dec. 2018 – 07h00 Monday 14th January 2019. No large deliveries (sand, stone, bricks etc.) will be permitted access to the estate after Friday 8th December 2017.
A maximum of 2 Handymen (defined as: “any resident, or person directly employed by a resident <max. 2 non-residents> for the purposes of small, unobtrusive <possibly emergency> maintenance work within the boundaries of the resident’s property only”) will be permitted during the above-mentioned contractor’s/builder’s holiday.
In the event the proposed work might cause noise or nuisance, neighbours’ consent will be required before commencing, confirmed and agreed to in writing by the Estate Office in advance of proceeding please.
The annual Christmas function took place on Saturday 24th November in the Blouberg Hills Park. The function was extremely well supported. All the littlies were patiently waiting for Santa to arrive at 5:30pm. His bell could be heard all the way from Melkbos! He arrived in an open top Jeep, ably assisted by two very pretty and helpful elves. The children were delighted to welcome him as he was hugged by many on the way to his chair next to the Christmas tree. Copious presents were given to all the eager children and even a few surprised teenagers and a grownup lady! She must have been a very good girl!
As a new addition to the children’s party, your social committee set up a juke box and spit roast lamb and salads to allow residents to network and get to know each other a little, all this while the kids had two jumping castles to play on, we bet they all slept really well.
We wish you and your families a joyous Festive Season, a great holiday and a truly wonderful 2019. We look forward to welcoming you to a few more functions in the New Year.

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Paul Klavas of Seeff Properties for his ongoing kind donation of the two jumping castles at this years’ Christmas Spit Braai function and also to André Langeveldt for his “sweet” donation of the children’s sweetie packs.
This years’ Halloween was a roaring success. We would like to extend a great big thank you to everyone that participated. It was wonderful to see both residents and visitors enjoy all the surprises that the night had to offer. And there were so many…
Both estates made an enormous effort. The result was a truly unforgettable evening shared by young and old. We are looking forward to an even bigger and better Halloween in 2019.
So start watering your creative pumpkin seeds and cook up some glorious ideas for next year.
